Licata

Licata is a city on Sicily in the Province of Agrigento. It has 38812 citizens and spreads over a area of178 qkm. The coast village Licata is located at the mouth of the river Salso and was already colonialised in the 3rd century before Christ. The on a hill built castle Sant’Angelo, the archaeological museum with findings, that go back to the Greek, several churches and especially the wonderful beaches belong to the town’s attractions.
