Comitini is a city on Sicily in the
Province of Agrigento. It has 955 citizens and spreads over a area of21 qkm.
The Palazzo Bellacera is one of the main attractions of Comitini. It was built in 1631 and gives shelter to an aquarium, a library and a mine museum. Some mines can still be visited. Especially in the 19th century they brought richness to the town through the digging of sulphur. Also worth seeing are the Villa Vella and the three churches of the town.
