Vacation Rental Marino in Balestrate in Sicily

The holiday homes Marino are situated in the small town Balestrate at the gulf of Castellanmare. Beaches are expanding east and west of the small town whereas the western one consists of a fine sandy beach with good water quality and it is perfectly appropriate for bathing; but there are also rocky coasts near the holiday home if you prefer that.

The little town Balestrate is a small traditional place where you find some restaurants and good shopping facilities, too. The holiday homes serve perfectly as a starting point to visit the near located sights: for example the small town Erice with its wonderful medieval town centre or the temple of Segesta, the integral nature reserve Lo Zingaro and also Palermo is only 40km away, with its markets, the cathedral and the palace of the Normans. And you definitely should not miss Monreale with its spectacular cathedral.

The holiday homes:

There are seven apartments with slightly different sizes each. The furniture of the apartments is comparable. The Example above shows one of the 60m² big apartments with a 15m_ terrace.

The smallest apartment is 45m² big with a 30m² veranda and is appropriate for two persons; the biggest one has 85m² and a 35m² veranda; it is considered for four to five persons.

What does the rent cost?

In the low season from November to February inclusively: 270, - Euro per week
In the mid season from March to May and from September to October inclusively: 350, - Euro per week
In the high season from June to August inclusively: 450, - Euro per week

The prices apply for families of two adults with up to two children (in the age of 0-16); there are charged 100, - Euro per week for every additional adult.

Electricity and water as well as bedclothes are included in the price; there are charged 50, - Euro per reservation for the final cleaning. In case you want to use the heating (November to the middle of March), there are also charged additional 10, - Euro per day as heating costs.

The least period to rent is a week. You can move into the apartment at 3 p.m. on the Saturday of arrival and it has to be free again on the day of departure at 10 o’clock a.m. the latest, so that the holiday home can be prepared for the next tenant. As a little security for us you have to lodge a deposit of 150, - Euro at the hand-over of keys which you get paid back at the end of the rental period.

Approach and location

Since the holiday home Paolo lies somewhat outside of a small town, it is difficult to reach it by public transport. It is recommended hence in any case to take a rental car. Via Presti, where the house is situated, is a bit bumpy, but that is normal in Sicily a bit offside of the main roads. The next shopping possibility is about 1,5 km away.

How is the holiday home furnished?

Holiday home for two persons with 45m² and 35m² veranda:
This apartment has a bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and a kitchen as well as a veranda.

Holiday homes for two to four persons with 65 to 85m²: Every apartment has two bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room respectively a living room with a kitchen corner, a bathroom with shower and a veranda.

Heating is available in all apartments.
