Holiday Cottage Lucia near Baia del Silenzio on Sicily

The holiday home Lucia is located in the country, between Lentini and Brucoli. It is surrounded by orange trees and offers a lot of space, inside as well as outside. Originally, it had been a little country house which was expanded again and again.

From here, you can visit Siracusa with its archaeological park in short time and the Etna and the Necropoles of Pantallica are not far away, too. Further destinations are the Baroque town Noto and Cava Grande, a deep canyon through which the river Cassibile is flowing and where on several levels little waterfalls and lakes build up. The next small town is Brucoli; it is only a few kilometres away and alongside of many beautiful restaurants and shopping facilities you can also visit a little castle here. The next approach to the sea is in Baia del Silenzio in about 5 km distance.

For animal lovers

On the estate behind the house lives the dog of the family, a very nice animal which likes to lie in the sun and being stroked. Besides, there is also a little kitten. If you have animals on your own and you want to bring them with you, this is possible after consultation; but with the confinement, that the animals do not live in the house, but find accommodation on the farm.

What does the rent cost?

In the low season from October to March: 310, - Euro per week
In the main seasonfrom April to September: 340, - Euro per week

Electricity and water as well as bedclothes and towels are included already in the rental price.

The least period to rent the holiday home is one week. The holiday home is available from 15 o’clock a.m. on the day of arrival and it has to be free again on the day of departure at 10 o’clock a.m. the latest, so that the holiday home can be prepared for the next tenant. As a little security for us you have to lodge a deposit of 150, - Euro at the hand-over of keys which you get paid back at the end of the rental period.

How is the holiday home furnished?

The holiday home Lucia offers space for up to four persons, it has the following rooms: two bedrooms with two beds each, a living room (with couch, TV and wood stove) and a spacious kitchen with a hearth, refrigerator, plates and cutlery etc. Furthermore, there are two bathrooms; the little one only has a basin, a bidet and a toilet, the bigger one has an additional shower. A washing machine does exist, too. On the terrace there are sunloungers and a table with a sunshade and chairs. The holiday home Lucia has an air conditioner and a wood stove and can be rent hence also during the winter.
