Favara is a city on Sicily in the
Province of Agrigento. It has 33666 citizens and spreads over a area of81 qkm.
The town Favara, which is situated only a couple of kilometres away from the Valley of the Temples and the sea, offers a great number of cultural and historical sights. The town’s landmark is the 13th century Castle Chiaramonte with an interesting chapel. Furthermore there are several artful palaces and churches in the town.
